Welcome to the Pohutukawa Coast Times.

The Pohutukawa Coast Times is a weekly tabloid community newspaper servicing the picturesque Pohutukawa Coast and rural Clevedon district, 35 minutes south-east of Auckland, New Zealand’s largest city.

The publication has been in existence under various titles and formats for many years.
The newspaper has been owned for more than a decade by Duncan and Fran Pardon, journalists with more than 30 years’ experience in the community newspaper industry.
Designed and produced at the company’s office in Beachlands, it is printed by Business Media Press in Howick and distributed free to 5500 local homes and businesses via the NZ Post Rural delivery network and through delivery people employed directly by the paper.

The Pohutukawa Coast Times’ mission statement is:
“ To provide accurate local news, information and advertising in a way that best fosters a sense of community and reflects the unique character of the Pohutukawa Coast, Clevedon district and their residents.”
